Black Gold Dual Trac Vertical 2 Pin Sight (Pro X Base)

Black Gold Dual Trac Vertical 2 Pin Sight (Pro X Base): Product Overview

Black Gold Dual Trac Vertical 2 Pin Sight (Pro X Base) is a bow-sight product listed by Bowsight Inc. The model name is the primary identifier for this listing. Buyers comparing archery sights should evaluate the sight architecture, mounting arrangement, aiming reference, adjustment method, visibility, and compatibility with their particular bow and shooting setup. The listing title may identify a pin count, slider format, scope configuration, or mounting style; those details should be checked against the exact product supplied.

Understanding the Product Configuration

The product name identifies a 2-pin configuration. Confirm the supplied pin arrangement and exact model specification against the manufacturer’s current documentation before purchase. For a slider or movable-sight design, confirm the adjustment mechanism, yardage indicator, mounting interface, and whether a scope or sight housing is included. For a multi-pin configuration, confirm the number and arrangement of pins, the stated pin size where supplied, and whether the product includes a light or other accessories. For a single-pin configuration, confirm how the sight is adjusted and what scope or housing is included. These details can vary across model variants and should not be inferred from a similar product name. Product variants can look similar while differing in included components, mounting hardware, scope configuration, pin count, or adjustment features. Review the complete product title, photographs, and any model or part number shown on the listing. If a detail is not explicitly stated, contact Bowsight Inc. before ordering rather than relying on assumptions.

What to Check Before You Buy

Start with compatibility. Compare the product’s mounting interface and supplied hardware with the mounting system on your bow. Check whether the listing describes a dovetail, fixed mount, bracket, adapter, or another interface. Do not assume that a component will fit every bow or every sight base. If the listing is a scope-only, base-only, adapter, or accessory configuration, make sure you understand what is and is not included before completing checkout.

Choosing a Sight for Your Shooting Style

Archers may prioritize a simple aiming reference, multiple preset aiming references, an adjustable yardage system, a compact arrangement, or an electronic ranging and aiming interface. The right choice depends on the archer’s experience, bow setup, practice routine, intended discipline, and local rules. A product title can help identify the broad configuration, but it cannot replace an individual fit check, careful setup, or practice at known distances. Select equipment based on the functions you actually need rather than assuming that a more complex sight automatically improves results.

Setup, Inspection, and Responsible Use

Follow the manufacturer’s installation and operating instructions. Before use, inspect mounting screws, brackets, sight housing, pins, scope components, and any adjustment points for visible damage or looseness. Confirm that the sight is securely mounted and properly aligned as part of a safe bow setup. Make adjustments gradually and verify them through controlled practice. Never draw or release a bow when people, animals, or property are in an unsafe direction. Use an appropriate archery range or lawful shooting area and follow the safety procedures that apply there.

Final Product Selection Checklist

Use this checklist as a final review before adding the item to your cart: match the full model name and variant; verify the sight type and pin configuration where applicable; confirm whether the product is a complete sight or a component; check mounting and bow compatibility; review the current manufacturer instructions; identify the accessories included in the package; and confirm the applicable hunting or range rules for your location. These checks are especially important when a manufacturer sells several closely named versions or offers the same sight family with different scopes, bases, pin arrangements, or mounting options. Bowsight Inc. aims to make product information clear, but customers should verify technical fit before installation. A careful comparison helps avoid ordering a configuration that does not match the intended bow setup.
